Building Services
Project 1: Case Study and Documentation of Building Services Systems
Within the first project, we are to propose building services to a given building. This individual project is to allow us to have a better understanding of the services within a building and how to apply them accordingly. The building services that needs to be proposed are as follows:

Water Supply System
Electrical Supply System
Sewage Management System
Stormwater and Drainage System
The project requires to propose the systems with proper drawings and diagrams to aid the understanding of how the services work. At the same time, images of each system has to be included as well as its purpose for better understanding. Last of all, the project relies heavily on the understanding and application of the laws in UBBL 1984 and Malaysian Standards to ensure that the proposed systems are according to local and international standards.
Project 2: Building Services In Public Buildings
In the second project, we are to carry out analysis of building services in a multi storey building especially for old folks. This project which requires a group of 6 allows us to propose building services and systems that are suitable and are able to accommodate to the needs of the elderly in an elderly care center. This project is similar to the previous project but emphasizes on a larger volume and more intricate services and systems. The services and systems are as follows:

air conditioning system
active and passive fire protection system
mechanical transportation system

As for my part, I was tasked to carry research and to propose passive ventilation systems to suit the elderly. Multiple criteria have to be taken into consideration such as adhering to UBBL and Malaysian Standards as the design has to suit the comfort of the elderly. Being as the head of the group, compilation of the team's work was my duty as well.
